Sight Words Reading Practice

Mon, 26 Oct 2026 10:00:00 EST

I made a small web page for the kids in my family who are learning to read and spell. It has the Dolch sight word lists from Pre-K through 3rd grade. Tap a word to highlight it, tap it again and the browser reads it aloud while a highlight sweeps across the letters.

It runs entirely in the browser using the built in text to speech, so it works on a phone or tablet with nothing to install. Speed and voice can be adjusted and it follows the device's light or dark mode.
