New Tutorial On Recording Video With Flash and New Project

Fri, 8 Jul 2011 18:45:51 EST

It took a really long time, but I am happy to announce an extensive tutorial on recording video and audio with Flash and Red5. The tutorial covers a complete client-side flash application and also a complete server-side application. Both applications also have videos demonstrating some of the concepts I explain in the tutorial.

The second thing to announce is a new project. I stopped work on a product I called the soft message system in November 2010 after close to a years worth of work. I never put up a project page for it and decided to finish it up this week. I certainly learned a lot from that one.
