Since I have moved and started my new job at Boston Productions, I haven't really written anything about where I work. If you have looked at my resume lately, you will have gotten a little feel for what I do.
I do a lot of Flash development these days working with Actionscript 3 and Adobe Air. I work for a company called
Boston Productions Inc. that specializes in hardware, software, multimedia, and film development for museums and special venues.
Due to my past work in more traditional programming languages and fanatical hobby experience in electrical engineering, I have been enjoying being able to help integrate even more great features into the already awesome projects we work on.
I have the pleasure of being able to work with many talented people at Boston Productions.
Bruce Spero is my boss and quite a talented film maker, programmer and jack of all trades when it comes to media production and technology. His last two films have been featured on
Boston.com
He has had recent winning entries in the 48 Hour Film Festival, and currently has a short musical called
The Bean and the Bean in the Equal Exchange Invitational. The Bean and the Bean was made in 48 hours.
Mike Sullivan is one of the editors I work with. He has been a big contributor over at Creative Cow for quite a while and recently had an article published in the
09-Non Broadcast Video & Production issue of their magazine.
The article is titled "Westward Ho" and it features an exhibit Boston Productions did for the National Historic Trails Center in Casper, Wyoming.
Bob Noll is the head honcho of Boston Productions. He was recently on a shoot where he documented a trip across the
Oregon Trail that is currently in post production. Bob has also recently
had work exhibited in the Smithsonian. All of his work I have ever seen has been extremely cool.
I always enjoy his lighting style and enduring passion toward the jobs we are working on.
I also work with a host of other talented people including editors, producers, writers, and engineers. The only reason I have not done profiles on them as well is because there isn't anything online about them!
