First off; thanks for checking this site out. Technogumbo is in its third complete version using this layout and architecture. I created this site and the programming behind it to be optimized towards search engine optimization best practices.

I have learned so much from the Internet during my lifetime that I hope I can use this site to give something back. I try to provide helpful insight on this site as well as elaborate on my current projects and research interests.

I currently spend the majority of my spare time teaching myself more about electrical engineering or computer science. I am interested in improving distance communication using Internet based technologies. I have a vested interest in this area because I live and work in Massachusetts but my entire family lives in Michigan. The majority of my colleges and good friends from college also live far away from their families due to work situations. Based on an increasing global economy I see this as an increasing normality that our society will have to confront. You can gain an in-depth explanation on my viewpoint from my article on "An Argument For Why A Consumer Grade Telepresence Robot is a Viable Endeavor".

In my day job I have the pleasure of working on custom museum exhibits with Boston Productions. In this area I have tended to excel in the area of combining Flash with traditional programming languages as well as custom hardware. By credentials I am not a research scientist; but I would like to consider myself one.

Current Spare Time Projects:
1. NAT Traversal using techniques like STUN, ICE, and TURN.
2. File Transfer over Sockets.
3. Embedding pressure sensors in knitted material

1. Computer vision
2. Autonomous Navigation
3. Bio/Computer Interfaces
4. Radio Wave Propagation and Generation Techniques
5. Localization techniques using radio waves and conventional technologies
6. P2P techniques in computer science
7. Materials Science and Plastic Forming/Molding
8. Computer Voice Recognition
9. Encryption Techniques & Their Practical Implementations
